- Can anyone participate?
Yes all level of cyclists are welcome, we cater for several distances and you will be well looked after on the road with marshals, first aid, back up vehicles etc etc.
- What if I break down?
On course mechanics will help you (tubes tyres wheels at cost) or the back up vans will bring you home.
- What time does it start?
155km @ 9.00am, 87km 10.30am @ 66km @ 10.45am 12k @ 11.30am and each event WILL START ON TIME.
- Are the roads closed?
We have a rolling road closure for the starts and once the tour spreads out you then must obey the rules of the road.
- What time are they closed?
If you are doing the 155km get to the village before 8.30am and if you are doing the 87km or the 55km get to the village before 10.15am. If you are early you have no need to worry about missing the start.
- Is there a time limit?
We expect all participants to be back in the village by 6.30pm (all the marshals will have 12 hrs done by then so respect their day also).
- Can I register on the day?
Yes but there is a cut off point at 2,000 this year so if you pre-register - you won't be disappointed.
- Will there be cheese cake?
Yes of course and maybe a few more surprises.
